Ava Hunt is Oliver James Montgomeryon the mend.
After the daughter of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt fell down during a hike Aug. 6, her mom Tavia Hunt shared she had been admitted to the hospital.
“This little thang fell down the mountain today on a hike,” Tavia wrote in a photo alongside Ava in a since-expired Instagram Story, per People. “And went to the ER for a deep wound. It’s been a looong day. Praise God she’s in recovery and already smiling. Please pray for a quick and complete recovery!”
Later Ava, 18, shared her own message assuring her followers she’s doing OK after being discharged from the hospital. In fact, she was already back home cheering on Simone Biles in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
“Update: surgery went very smoothly and I’m back at home watching my favorite @simonebiles!!” Ava wrote in a Aug. 6 Instagram Story. “I’m feeling great (but I might still be a little drugged up) Thank you for all of your sweet messages and prayers.”
The soon-to-be Southern Methodist University cheerleader—who is the younger sibling of Gracie, 25, and Knobel, 21—knows a thing or two about shaking it off after forming a bond with Taylor Swift during the last NFL season.
Amid Taylor’s romance with the Chiefs’ Travis Kelce, Ava has shared moments of meeting up with the Grammy winner at games, including following the team’s Super Bowl win against the San Francisco 49ers. Plus, for Taylor’s 34th birthday in December, Ava gave the “Karma” singer a gift on behalf of her entire family.
At the time, Ava posted a snap with Taylor and her present on Instagram, captioning the photo with the lyrics, “Enchanted to meet you.”
The gift, a $5,000 Judith Leiber Swarovski microphone clutch, was a gesture of just how big of fans the entire Hunt family are of Taylor—and, naturally, her relationship with the Chiefs’ tight end.
“It's been a very interesting—very fun year having the two of them dating,” Clark said on a January episode of Mad Money. “The attention that's been focused on the Chiefs—our female audience has grown leaps and bounds.”
And even Clark himself couldn’t contain from gushing over the Eras Tour performer, continuing, “I've had a chance to meet her at one of the many games that she's attended this year and she's just as sweet as she can be.”
